Approved Document B (ADB) states that unprotected parts of a building’s escape route should be limited to ensure that those inside do not have to travel excessive distances when exposed to the immediate danger of fire and smoke. Here, we look at the options that Be Safe Direct can provide to ensure compliance with ADB.
A: We deliver to mainland addresses in England, much of Scotland and Wales.
All stock* items ordered before 11.30am on a working day are sent by next day delivery service (arriving anytime from 7.00am to 7.00pm) at the following cost:

A: If your delivery address is in upper Scotland and Scottish Islands, Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland, (Postcodes HS, IM, IV, KA27-28, KW, PA15-17, PA20, PA 41-49, PH42-44, PA60-PA78, TR21-25, ZE, BT, JE, GY, AB31-AB38, AB40-AB56, IV1-IV28, IV30-IV32, IV36-IV40, IV52-IV54, IV63, KW1-KW14, PA21-PA38, PH4-PH41, PH49-PH50) the service will be a 2/3 day delivery.

A: We offer bulk discounts on selected product lines, these discounts are listed on the specific product pages and calculated in the checkout.
A: Yes, its £10.00 + vat.

A: We will contact you to advise of an estimated delivery date. Usually this will be 3 – 5 working days but will keep you updated at every stage.
A: Yes we do, we send all parcels using a wide range of carriers or royal mail recorded delivery and require a signature at the delivery address. Unless otherwise specified we will only deliver to the delivery address given by you.
A: Our carriers post a delivery attempted card through your front door if no one is home and they will automatically re-attempt the delivery, the next working day. Alternatively you can contact the carrier using the information left on the card to rearrange for a suitable day (excluding weekends & bank holidays) or make a collection in person from the carriers depot.
A: Sorry, but unfortunately no. We do not have a trade counter and our warehouse uses modern inventory and logistics control.
A: Please allow up until 7.00pm - the cut-off time - for your delivery to arrive. Then call or email us with your order number and as much detail as you can give so that we can trace the package and get your goods to you. Please note that our carrier service is extremely efficient but the occasional hiccup can occur and, although it is usually out of our control, we will do all we can to resolve the issue.
