Delivery

Q: When can I expect delivery?

A: Most stock products can be delivered as early as next day! Specific delivery times are stated on each product page.

Weekend and bank holiday orders from stock are sent next working day.

Delivery times are usually between 7.00am - 7.00pm Monday to Friday. Saturday delivery is available on stock items; please Contact Us for further information.

If the products ordered are not in stock or in the requested quantity we will notify you with an estimated delivery time as soon as possible. 3-5 working days is the estimated delivery time for out of stock products.

Some smoke vents and dampers are made to order and usually dispatched within 3 - 4 weeks. These delivery times are stated on these products.

*Orders must be placed before 11.30am and be in stock for next day delivery (not including weekends).

Q: Do you require a signature on delivery?

A: Yes, all of our products are sent by courier or recorded delivery and require a signature on delivery.

Q: My products have been dispatched when will I receive them?

A: Once your products have been dispatched they are usually received the next day, excluding weekends and bank holidays.

Q: Delivery charges?

A: Our delivery charges are based on the total order value excluding VAT and delivery.The delivery cost is only £7.95.

Q: Do you deliver to countries outside the UK?

A: The standard Be Safe Direct delivery charge covers most mainland UK addresses. Additional delivery charges apply to deliveries to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Isle Of White and Northern Ireland. Please contact us for these additional delivery charges prior to order placement.

Q: Do you have a minimum order amount?

A: Yes, when making an order with Be Safe Direct we require a minimum order amount of £10.00 excl Vat and the Delivery Charge.

Q: Can I come to you and collect?

A: Sorry, but unfortunately not. The warehouse uses modern inventory and logistics control and we cannot allow collections by individuals

Guarantees

Q: What type of guarantee do you offer on the products?

A: The guarantee will vary depending on the product, and applies only to product upon receipt, not during and post-installation. Please refer to the individual product documentation for further information.

Payment

Q: How do I pay for products?

A: Online

You can pay for your selected products using our Secure Online Checkout. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Cards must be issued by a UK registered bank or building society.

Phone

We can also process your order by phone, please contact our sales team on 0845 604 5653, Our opening hours are Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.

If you would like to place a phone order out of hours, simply leave your phone number and we will call you back when we re-open.

Bank Transfer / Post

We also accept BACS payment and cheque, please Contact Us if you wish to pay using this method. Goods are dispatched when payment has cleared.

Q: Is it safe to pay for my products online?

A: Yes it is very safe to purchase products online from Be Safe Direct using our Secure Encrypted Payment System. We are verified safe by GeoTrust Inc.

Q: Are the product prices listed on the website inclusive of VAT?

A: All products listed on the Be Safe Direct website display the price with and without VAT. The total order value is calculated at the checkout.

Returns

Q: Can I return my goods?

A: We strive to give you full satisfaction when purchasing from Be Safe Direct. We accept cancellations up to 14 days from the receipt of goods. Products must be in the original un-opened packaging.

If you wish to return any unused items you must notify us by email to customerservices@besafedirect.com within 14 days of receipt. Please provide your full name, email and order number. Once we have received this information we will email you a returns form for completion and your individual return number.

We cannot accept any returns unless a returns form has been completed with the individual returns number.

Payment of the return of goods is carried by the customer.

Items that are made to a specific order will not be accepted for return.

Problems

Q: What if my goods are faulty?

A: Be Safe Direct aims to provide products of a high standard and quality. However, if your item has a fault or defect, please inform us within 3 days of delivery by email to customerservices@besafedirect.com.

Q: What happens if there is a problem with my order?

A: Be Safe Direct takes customer service seriously. If, for any reason, there is a problem with your order, please Contact Us and we will endeavor to resolve any issues to your satisfaction, and as quickly as possible.

Q: What if my building requirements do not fit within the system specifier? /Can I build a bespoke system package?

A: Please contact our Expert Advisors to discuss your requirements for a bespoke system package.

*To provide a quote we will require a GA plan, schedule of quantities, and if necessary, required actuator lengths.

A: We have access to thousands of products from many suppliers. Please Contact Us as we may be able to source the product you are looking for.

Q: Can you build a custom-made smoke vent?

A: Yes we can, Please Contact Us with the dimensions, material requirements and any other information you have and we will be able to send you a quote.

Q: Can you provide installation and/or maintenance services if I purchase from you?

A: No, Be Safe Direct supplies fire safety products and systems only. We can recommend companies who will install or maintain our systems and products. Please Contact Us if you require this service.
